In only one month, on August 10 and 11, 2024, the headquarters of the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute (FINA) will host the final presentations of the “Dancing Together, Again!” Creative Residency Program. 36 artists, producers and dance researchers from Georgia, Croatia, Italy and Poland will meet for two days in Warsaw to showcase the results of their creative, curatorial and research projects undertaken during residencies in Tbilisi, Rijeka and Naples.

The final presentations will be held in the spaces of the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute in Wierzbno, Warsaw, at 3/5 Wałbrzyska St. (FINA calendar). The showcase will feature dance and multimedia performances, dance films and documentaries, totaling at nearly 20 presentations! Also featured will be meetings and talks with organizers, artists, researchers and curators – participants of the program. The events will take place on August 10 and 11, 2024. Each day will include screenings of performances and multimedia performances (solo, duets and group performances) co-created by program participants hailing from Georgia, Croatia, Italy and Poland. The screenings will be interwoven with audience meetings and panel discussions. August 11 will also featured presentations of dance films and documentaries made during the respective residencies.

About the “Dancing Together, Again!” program

“Dancing Together, Again! – Creative Residency Program” is implemented within the framework of the “Creative Europe, Culture Component” program. Its main objectives include cultural exchange, interaction of artists, producers and dance researchers with an emphasis on the creative process and integration with the local communities.

The residencies have been organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw, Arts Research Institute of Georgia in Tbilisi, Movimento Danza in Naples and TRAFIK Dance/Theatre Company in Rijeka.
