The programme is addressed to the Polish institutions which aim at preserving Polish musical tradition and to Polish folk musicians. It refers to the idea which is popular in many countries of well-developed musical culture and consists in supporting local musical traditions, traditional playing and singing techniques in particular.

Programme launched, after 5. edition
The Selection Board of the programme met on 11 December 2015, at the Institute of Music and Dance, to select winners of its 6th Edition.
From a shortlist of 14 proposals, the Board has selected 4 Applications to be co-funded by the IMiT Programme.
