objectives

The programme’s objectives are to support and promote emerging Polish performers, to make it easier for them to debut on stage, and to encourage Polish institutions and ensembles to collaborate with young Polish artists.

The programme is addressed to young Polish performing artists and Polish music institutions, i.e. philharmonics, symphony and chamber orchestras and other ensembles with a regular concert schedule, as well as opera houses and music theatres.

The programme is open to solo instrumentalists and singers as well as chamber, vocal and mixed ensembles up to 9 members, representing a variety of styles. They are required to have at least a year of experience in artistic work. Candidates must not be older than 35 years and must hold an MA degree obtained from an art collage or university.

The programme offers artistic residencies to solo instrumentalists and ensembles in music institutions (priority 1) and to solo singers in opera houses and music theatres (priority 2).

The Institute of Music and Dance provides fees for the participating soloists and ensembles.

A pilot edition of the programme will be implemented in the 2015/16 season. Applications must be sent by 30 April 2015. The results of the call will be announced on 31 May 2015.
