Over the course of the two days of final presentations, nearly 200 people attended live – and more than 600 watched online! – enjoying dance performances, multimedia performances (solo, duets, and group pieces), dance films, and documentaries – a total of 20 presentations! – all created collaboratively by 35 artists, producers, and dance researchers from Georgia, Croatia, Italy, and Poland. The shows were interspersed with audience meetings and panel discussions.

All events were part of the “Creative Europe, Culture Component” program, which has been running since 2022 in cooperation with the Arts Research Institute of Georgia in Tbilisi, Movimento Danza in Naples, and the TRAFIK Dance/Theatre Company in Rijeka.

Here’s what the participants from Croatia, Georgia, Italy, and Poland had to say about the final presentations:

“The last two days were the highlight of the project, although it was quite difficult to organize so many rehearsals and performances and talks after each of them. I managed to perform but also watch and enjoy all the performances. This project will remain in my memory as a special event in all its stages.” – Jasna Čižmek Tarbuk

“My final residency in Warsaw was a truly unique journey.” – Toni Flego

“I was happy to meet other people by giving them my energy with great pleasure. The beauty of the projects lies in the great connection between the artists and in creating new long-distance communities.” – Nyko Piscopo

“I really enjoyed the experience and artistic creation with other talented artists.” – Nicola Campanelli

“The Dancing Together, Again! residency will stay for me as one of the unforgettable projects, the experience and impact it has left on me, will follow me for many years.” – Xosilita Khositashvili

“The Dancing Together, Again! residency in Warsaw was a profoundly enriching experience for me, not just artistically but also personally.” – Justyna Warelis

“The ‘Dancing Together Again’ residency in Warsaw was an experience that will remain in my memory for a long time.” – Lena Skrzypczak
