The main objective of the event is to present the current state of knowledge and the results of the latest research. The meeting of eminent Polish and foreign researchers will also provide a platform to discuss and exchange their respective experiences.

Nowadays, we often forget that dance is a very important component of human life. Polish and international scholars conduct research in various disciplines, and their findings confirm the positive impact of dance on mental and physical health and human development – says Aleksandra Dziurosz, PhD, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Music and Dance. – However, it seems that this information is not adequately promoted and fails to reach parents, teachers, educators, physicians, and the general public. Therefore, the National Institute of Music and Dance saw the pressing need to take action to popularize the latest research findings on the beneficial effects of dance. The first stage towards the implementation of this task will be the International Conference “Dance in Education and Human Development,” and it is my great pleasure to encourage all interested parties to follow the conference online. –adds Dziurosz.

The conference will focus on four main thematic areas:

1. The impact of dance on human physical development.

2. the impact of dance on human socio-cultural development.

3. the influence of dance on human psycho-emotional development.

4. the importance of dance education in the development of children and adolescents.

The list of conference speakers and along with a detailed conference schedule will be published soon. Information will be available on the official website of the National Institute of Music and Dance, www.nimit.pl, and on the social media sites of the event Organizer and Partners.
