Pianist and manager. He graduated from the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the piano class of Andrzej Stefański (1984). He was a laureate of the Polish Piano Festival in Slupsk, he performed in philharmonics in Poznan, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Jelenia Gora. He has recorded for Polish Radio, TVP and Polskie Nagrania among others. Since 2019 he has been cooperating with our Institute on the Polish Music Impresario project.

Previously, he cooperated, among others, with the National Philharmonic Orchestra as the head of the Promotion Department or Artur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra of Łódź as the Director of Promotion, General and Artistic Director and Deputy Director for Artistic Affairs. He created a number of activities and projects with many non-governmental organizations, including: Fifth Essence Foundation, Concert Spirituels Foundation, Polish Culture Foundation, Polish Composers’ Union, University of Warsaw Foundation. He has co-authored traditional and multimedia publications devoted to Witold Lutosławski, Karol Szymanowski, and Andrzej Panufnik, among others.

For many years he has been involved in popularizing Roman Palester’s oeuvre – this year the PWM published his monograph on the composer. And it is “for undertaking many publishing and concert initiatives that effectively bring back the person and music of Roman Palester to musical life” that he received this year the Honorary Award of the Main Board of the Polish Composers’ Union.
