Dance scholar, curator, and cultural manager. She holds Master’s degrees in Cultural Studies and Psychology from the University of Łódź and Université Lumière Lyon 2. She earned her PhD from Université Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle and the University of Łódź. She also completed postgraduate studies in diplomacy and business management at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).
Between 2010 and 2017, she served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Music and Dance. From 2018 to 2020, she held the position of Head of Ballet at the Wrocław Opera, and later served in the same role at the Grand Theatre, Łódź. In the periods 2007–2010 and 2021–2022, she was Artistic Coordinator of the International Contemporary Dance Festival Ciało/Umysł (Body/Mind).
She is the author of scholarly and critical texts and the editor of key publications in the field of dance, including European Dance since 1989: Communitas and the Other (2014) and Polish Women Artists of the Dance Avant-Garde (2017). She is also co-editor of Dictionary of Contemporary Dance (with Prof. Małgorzata Leyko, 2022).
